Meet Dr. P

Meet Dr. P

Hi! I am Dr. Donna Poppendieck, more commonly known in the college classroom as Dr. P. I have been
involved in the addiction treatment and prevention community for about 20 years or more and have taught mental health in universities for about 15 years.

Having grown up in a family with drug abuse, and having successfully healed myself from autoimmune disease, I am always interested in exploring legitimate, evidence-based pathways to full and complete health and recovery – in thoughts, feelings, body, and spirit– for any and all interested people. This course reviews many of the basic tenets of ethical standards in general and specifically for peer support professionals in the State of Ohio. I hope you enjoy the course!
