After giving a brief historical timeline of CBD oil use, this course discusses what it is and what it is not. An overview of the endocannabinoid system is presented. Potential health benefits and risks are discussed, as well as knowing what to look for if one wants to purchase a CBD oil product that is safe to use (not brand related). Drugs which interact with cannabis are presented and potential issues with CBD oil use and recovering addicts are also discussed. The inclusion of CBD oil with a comprehensive, multi-faceted, holistic health care plan with a competent health care practitioner is also presented.
